What we are

Brooklyn Search Lab is based in Brooklyn. We do two things that are usually sold separately: we get businesses found in search, and we build the software those businesses run on.

That combination is the entire premise. In most engagements the two problems turn out to be the same problem. A site that will not rank is usually a site with an engineering defect: a render-blocking template, a database query that takes four seconds, a CMS generating thousands of duplicate URLs. An agency without engineers writes that up and hands it off. We fix it.

Both, deliberately. We were built that way because the split between the two is where most projects fail. If you only need one side, that is a normal engagement for us.

Established businesses where search drives real revenue and where operational inefficiency is limiting growth. We are a poor fit for pre-revenue startups needing free work, and for anyone looking for the cheapest available option.

Do you require long-term contracts?

SEO retainers carry a minimum term because meaningful movement takes that long and anything shorter measures noise. Development, automation, and database work is project-scoped with no ongoing commitment.
